Two decades after the original Hypermotard blew minds at EICMA in 2005, Ducati has unleashed the fourth-generation Hypermotard V2…

The new Hypermotard V2 and V2 SP bring Ducati’s hooligan icon into the modern era with a new monocoque chassis, a lighter 890cc Ducati V2 engine, and the wildest styling since the original 1100. Ducati says it’s the most futuristic Hypermotard ever, and they’re not kidding. The familiar twin underseat pipes, floating tail light, and compact tank return, now sharpened with robotic minimalism and a double DRL headlight that looks ready to pick a fight at any given moment.

That new 890cc V-twin pumps out a claimed 120hp and 94 Nm of torque, backed by IVT variable valve timing, making it the most powerful Hypermotard ever, yet 13 kg lighter than the old 950. The result? Instant throttle response, fierce midrange grunt, and a soundtrack that’s pure Ducati thunder.

Underneath, it’s pure supermotard attitude: wide bars, narrow waist, and flickable geometry. The SP version turns it up to eleven with Öhlins NIX30 and STX46 suspension, forged aluminium wheels, Brembo M50 brakes, and a racy 20th anniversary livery with gold forks and white rims.

Electronics are top-shelf too… a 6-axis IMU, cornering ABS with “Slide by Brake,” Ducati Traction and Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control, and a 5-inch TFT dash with Road, Pro, and Track display modes.

Arriving in April 2026, prices to be confirmed.
