Triumph has fired another shot straight into the middleweight naked class with the arrival of the all-new Trident 800.
Fresh for 2026, the 800 takes the fun-loving spirit of the Trident 660 and turns everything up to 11 – power, presence and pure riding attitude.
At the heart of the new machine sits an all-new 798 cc triple, delivering 115 PS at 10,750 rpm and 84 Nm of torque. Triple throttle bodies and a redesigned airbox make throttle response razor sharp, while the trademark Triumph soundtrack – part growl, part howl – blasts through an upswept sports silencer. It’s built for instant punch off the line and a screaming top end that’ll keep you grinning long after the shift light’s flashed.

Handling promises to be just as lively. The lightweight tubular-steel frame and adjustable Showa suspension (41 mm SFF-BP forks up front, fully adjustable monoshock at the rear) keep the 198 kg Trident agile and precise. Twin 310 mm discs with radial four-pot calipers provide serious stopping power, and Michelin tyres handle the grip duties.
Tech hasn’t been forgotten either. The 800 comes armed with lean-sensitive Optimised Cornering ABS and Traction Control, three Rider Modes (Road, Sport and Rain), Triumph Shift Assist, cruise control, and full Bluetooth connectivity through the My Triumph app. A crisp 3.5-inch TFT dash keeps it all tidy, while all-LED lighting and a round DRL headlight add a slice of modern style.
Visually, it’s a compact, muscular bruiser – a 14-litre tank, short tail and colour-coded bellypan giving it proper naked aggression. Premium touches like gold alloy wheels and bold colourways – Ash Grey/Diablo Red, Carnival Red/Graphite and stealthy Jet Black – complete the look.
With a £9,195 starting price and dealer arrivals set for March 2026, the Trident 800 looks ready to shake up the middleweight class all over again.
