Check out this amusing bit of video that’s running as an advertising campaign in South Africa.

It’s to push the S1000RR superbike and it’s a combination of Candid Camera (remember that?) and good old outrageous speeding past a bus stop (remember doing that?).


BMW Motorrad SA is behind the ad where the road alongside a bus stop was rigged to splash a puddle as if a bike had just blasted through the water, the effect is accompanied by hidden speakers in the bus stop that play the sound of a S1000RR going past at full chat. It works and the reaction from the people caught by the trickery is great.
