2017 GSX-R250 illustration shows factory bodywork on new bike

Last week we brought you the first look at the final set of CAD drawings for Suzuki’s newest 2017 bike.

The GSX-R250 is on its way and is being launched against the likes of Kawasaki’s Ninja, Honda’s CBR250RR BMW’s S300RR and Yamaha’s R3.

In the drawings, which we’ve posted below, you can see that the new bike is being built to a low-end price point with lesser-spec suspension and brakes. What we can’t see too clearly is how the small bike’s bodywork will look with some colour on it. Until now.

That’s because over the weekend the excellent digi-artist on moto-blast.org has put this together, showing the GSX-R250 in bigger-sibling-style factory Suzuki colours. We like it. Let’s hope that when the bike does get officially launched later on this year it does look just like this.
