Here’s some video of the world’s fastest female motorcyclist, Valerie Thompson, setting a new world record at the Bonneville Speed Motorcycle Speed Trials.
The event ended last week and it’s now been confirmed that Thompson averaged a highest speed of 294.782mph across her two runs on the same course that Guy Martin and the Infor Triumph Streamliner managed 274.2mph on a couple of weeks ago.
Here’s a picture from inside the cockpit of the 7 Racing streamliner that shows her clocking the 313mph quickest speed. Thompson followed the record-setting performance the next day with an even more impressive average time of 304.263 mph, the fastest speed set during the week.
