VR46 racer Bulega gets FIM fine for ‘derogatory gestures on track’. Ooooh!

We didn’t see this hand gesture, so we’ve not got much of an idea just how ‘rude’ it was.

So if you saw it, then you know whether the MotoGP bosses are right to impose a very public fine of 300 Euro on the SKY VR46 Moto3 rider Nicolo Bulega (above) .

Seems a bit harsh to us.

Anyway, here’s the official notification from the stuffed shirts overlooking the action. If you were around turn 15 at 9.23am on Saturday morning at Aragon then you’ve clearly seen something naughty happening in the modern racing world. Anyone else remember Sheene flicking the Vs at Roberts at Silverstone? The cameras didn’t manage to catch the retaliating w***** hand sign from Roberts two corners later… Bet nobody back them would have dared to impose a fine on either rider for that stuff.
