Intermot show: Honda unveils TWO versions of the CB1100 for 2017. One hot, the other cool.

The new Honda CB11oo is getting two versions for 2017 – the CB1100EX (pictured below) and CB1100RS (pictured above). Both get an Assist and Slipper clutch and smaller silencers.

The RS is a sharper bike with better handling. It runs with 43mm Showa dual valve two-piece forks and remote reservoir shocks. 17″ cast aluminium wheels hold radial Tokico four-piston brakes.

There’s a revised inlet and exhaust system on the 1140cc air-cooled in-line four motor and the new shape petrol tank has been designed so that the rider sits slightly more prone on the bike.

The EX also gets the new tank but this version comes with 18″ wheels and Showa suspension front and rear.

Colour-wisem the RS comes in either red or black and the EX is going to appear in white or yellow.

We’ll bring you the price when Honda UK announced it. Expect these bikes to be in dealers towards the end of the year.
