Here’s BMW’s K1600B – the 6 cylinder bagger based around the new GT tourer. In someone’s spare bedroom, apparently

BMW has unleashed this latest creation – it’s new K1600B. Apprently pictured inside someone’s spare bedroom in an unfurnished bit of a house. OK, maybe not, but you’ve got to admit that the setting for the official pictures (above) isn’t the usual setting for a bike like this.

Anyway, essentially, it’s the K1600GT that we saw last week at the Intermot show but dressed in a swoopy back end and pannier combination.

The bike makes the same power (160bhp) and has all the same updates at the GT has been given like ride-by-wire, up/down gear shift assist etc. It can also have a reverse gear and all the other add-ons that the K1600GT had.

It’s the K1600GT, after all.

BMW hasn’t released any details about UK price or even if the bike is going to appear in the UK at all. It’s a motorcycle developed largely for the American market after all. It looks pretty cool, really.
