Indian recalling thousands of bikes after potential fuel leak discovered.
Indian is recalling seven models from its range after discovering a potential for a fuel leak with a fuel rail fitted to its bikes.
The company has not yet made an announcement about UK models, but we do know that bikes in both American and Australia are being recalled. In America that amounts to 23,746 bikes.
The recall includes the Chief Classic, Chief Dark Horse, Vintage, Chieftain, Chieftain Dark Hors, Springfield and Roadmaster models for bikes made between April 2013 and July 2016.
As with all recalls, owners of the affected machines will be contacted directly by the factory. The bikes affected will be fitted with a bracket that will hold the fuel rail in the correct position and void the possibility of fuel leaking from the bike.
