You all know the 2016 Ducati Panigale R pretty well. Out last year, and costing just shy of £30,000 – the Panigale R is pretty much state of the art as far as buyable Ducatis go… Now, imagine cutting one up and making this…’The Blue Shark’.

In 2016, this bike rolled straight off the Ducati showroom floor, and into the hands of Andy Matter, CEO of Parts World – Switzerland’s premier aftermarket distributor – and with the help of Ducati Zentralschweiz, Schaub Metalworks and exhaust giant Akrapovic, he’s created arguably the world’s fastest (and one of the most beautiful) cafe racers.

“After browsing the web and many other sources, I found out that no one had ever customised a Panigale R as a cafe racer. Moreover, even the Ducati specialists were doubtful anyone would succeed with such a project. That said ‘Hey, it is already the world’s most beautiful sportsbike, you can only make it worse!” said Andy Matter.
