The new TVS Akula 310 has been caught taking part in road testing in India – hinting that the small capacity sportsbike is nearly ready to be rolled out in showrooms across Asia.
The 300cc mini-superbike has been made by TVS with some serious input from BMW – and will end up as the BMW S310RR. A little while ago we told you that the TVS Akula will use the same 310cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine as BMW G310R’s motor, which kicks out around 34bhp and 21Nm of torque. Suspension, brakes and wheels are also going to be pretty much the same (minus a few with minor tweaks) as the Indo-German roadster.

Over the past few months we’ve been sent various snaps of the TVS during the various stages of testing – but today this brilliant video of two heavily camouflaged machines riding along the Bangalore – Chennai Highway arrived in our inbox
We’ll keep you posted with more updates about the TVS Akula as the news comes in – we’re just waiting for BMW to confirm when the S310RR will make it to market!
