Ducati has sent out a cryptic press release, telling us to prepare for the arrival of ‘the sound of a new era’ from the Italian brand on September 7th.
The statement gives very little away, but reveals that the event will coincide with the Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rivera de Rimini in Misano at 12am.
Although we can’t say with any certainty, it seems sensible to suggest that the big reveal will be the new Ducati V4 engine, with the change from two to four cylinders bringing in the “sound of a new” era to which Ducati refer.
Excited or not about the change from two to four cylinders, in just over a month’s time we will know more about the future of Ducati and the beginning of its ‘new era’.
