After testing his fitness on a Yamaha R1 for a number of laps at Misano earlier this week, Valentino Rossi reckons he’s fit enough to prepare for this weekend’s upcoming Aragon GP.
The Italian will need to pass as fit in order to take to the track – but ‘the Doctor’ sounds optimistic, with his sights set on FP1, which he’ll use to further assess his ability to compete on Sunday.
Dutch WorldSBK rider Michael van der Mark will replace the nine-time World Champion if he is unable to compete in the event.
