Yamaha unveils new pickup truck for motorcyclists at Tokyo Motor Show

Yamaha revealed its four-wheel drive, cross-country pick-up; the Cross Hub Concept – and it looks awesome.

The Cross Hub Concept is a middle-weight SUV equipped with top-notch Falken rubber, raised suspension and four-wheel drive – and uses a unique diamond-shaped seating arrangement that puts the driver’s seat at the front, with a passenger seat directly behind and on each side too. Basically, it helps to offer enough room to fit a motorcycle diagonally in the bed – clever stuff.

Of course, we’re guessing it’s a little more than a design study at this stage. We’ve not seen any tech specs and Yamaha hasn’t confirmed if it’ll make it to market. Either way, we reckon it looks fantastic.
