Toby Price is an Australian motorcycle racer best known for his victory in the 2016 Dakar Rally. He won stages 2,5,6,8, and 9, and finished an astonishing 40 minutes ahead of his nearest rival. ‘Paying the Price’ follows Toby’s emotional journey from country kid to becoming Australia’s first ever winner of The Dakar Rally.

A year prior to his Dakar success, Price took part in his first Dakar as a support rider and shocked his competitors by winning a stage and climbing onto the podium – finishing an impressive third overall. And he’s matched that for 2018, once again finishing in third position.

But, he was famous in his native Australia long before he exploded onto the international Enduro scene. Price won the toughest off-road race in Australia, the annual Finke Desert Race back in 2010 on his first attempt, and returned to win in 2012, 2014, and 2015 too.
