Road legality was the only limitation imposed, as BMW allowed its retailers imaginations to run wild as they created unique R nineT Racers for the Bespoke Race Build competition. Overall 10,000 votes were cast across social media – and it was a close battle at the top of the pile, with Chester Motorrad and Wollaston Motors Ltd locked in a close battle for the win, with in excess of 2,000 votes each.

Both Chester and Wollaston’s entries are visually very different, highlighting just how versatile a machine the retro R nineT Racer in the right hands. From retro-inspired paint schemes to hand-crafted custom machines, the BMW Bespoke Build ran the gambit of designs and style options.

Woolaston Motorrad’s Entry

Paul Hodgson, Sales Manager, Chester Motorrad: “We are so pleased to have taken home first place in the first BMW Bespoke Build. We have to thank everyone in the public for voting for us, it was very close at the top in terms of votes throughout. Our team did such a fantastic job, there was an incredible amount of work for our technicians to fabricate all the custom parts themselves and resolving a couple of issues we made for ourselves because of the rather radical design. I am very pleased with how the bike turned out, it’s exactly as we had imagined – a very different, aggressive bike which sounds incredible.”

Chandlers Bikes’ Entry

The podium was completed by Chandlers Bikes, who received the third highest number of votes. To check out all entrants of the inaugural BMW Bespoke Build, click HERE.
