CHECK out this amazing illustration from our Japanese friends at YoungMachine – the magazine has shown its version of the MVR1400 cruiser which is heading our way in 2020.
The drawing is based on a concept four-valve OHV air-cooled V-twin, 1400cc motor that was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show earlier this year. Based on a prototype that Mugen built in the 1970s called the MRV1000 (that engine was a 1000cc twin-carb motor that never made it to production) the MRV1400 was eagerly welcomed by Japanese fans in March.
Now YoungMachine has taken the firm’s motor and teaser sketch that Mugen, modernly known for the electric racebikes it contests at the TT Zero event each year, produced for the Tokyo Show and produced its own amazing image of what the finished bike could look like.
Oi, Mr Mugen boss. If you make this, we’re pretty sure you’d sell a lot of them.
Wonder if Triumph is worried.
