Yamaha Europe has revealed its latest Yard Built custom – made by French bike builders, DAB MOTORS. Based on XSR 900, ‘The ALTER’ incorporates the latest 3D modelling and printer technology, with a range of custom parts and accessories. Clever stuff.
The ALTER utilises a range of 3D printed parts – including its aluminium seat rails, top bridges, handlebar risers and headlight holders – pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, while moving away from traditional production and manufacturing techniques.
That’s not all though – the ALTER XSR 900 also features unique handlebars, grips, and brake reservoirs. In addition, it also comes with beautiful sculpted bodywork made from ultra-light flax fibres. In short, the ALTER is the perfect example of what’s possible using the latest technology. We love it.
