The Championship leader set an imperious race pace as Rossi suffers fast Turn 7 crash
Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) was the only rider to post a 1:33 in the session to set a frightening race pace in FP4 at the Motul TT Assen, with Andrea Iannone (Team Suzuki Ecstar) and Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) P2 and P3 respectively.
Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) crashed at Turn 7 in the session, ‘The Doctor’ walked away and went back out on his second M1 machine, finishing 11th on the timesheets. Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini) crashed at Turn 1, with Alvaro Bautista (Angel Nieto Team) also falling at Turn 7 – riders ok.
