New colours for Kawasaki’s Versys, Z900RS and ZZR1400

Ahead of the shows season during which manufacturers unveil their latest creations to the world, Kawasaki has unveiled a selection of new colourways for its 2019 Versys (650 and 300), its ZZR400 and its recently introduced Z900RS and Z900RS Cafe.

Its long-running Kawasaki ZZR1400 sport tourer will come in a couple of version for 2019. Of course, there’s the standard ZZR1400 – but for 2019, Kawasaki has revealed its ZZR1400 Performance Sport, which adds a selection of premium aftermarket kit to further improve performance. More specifically, it comes with Brembo monobloc M50 calipers, an Öhlins TTX rear shock absorber and two black Akrapovič silencers.

But back to the colour options… The Kawasaki ZZR1400 will be available in Metallic Spark Black/Candy Cardinal Red – while the Kawasaki ZZR1400 Performance Sport is available in Metallic Spark Black/Pearl Meteor Grey/Emerald Blazing Green.

The recently launched Kawasaki Z900RS and Z900RS Cafe won’t be changing much for 2019 – there’s just a new colourways for the Café. In addition to its current Vintage Lime Green paint, you’ll be able to choose a Metallic Graphic Grey paintjob. And it looks smart. The Kawasaki Z900RS will be available in three different colours; Candytone Brown/Candytone Orange, Metallic Matte Covert Khaki/Flat Ebony and Metallic Spark Black.

The 650 and 300 Versys will also be getting an update for 2019. On the Kawasaki Versys 650, there’s a choice between a new Metallic Moondust Grey/Metallic Flat Spark Black, Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Matte Fusion Silver and Candy Lime Green/Metallic Spark Black – while the small and adventurous Kawasaki Versys-X 300 is now offered in combination of Metallic Moondust Grey/Metallic Flat Spark Black and Candy Lime Green/Metallic Flat Spark Black.
