Indonesian President Joko Widodo has helped to open the 2018 Asian Games in style, riding a Yamaha FZ1 into the opening ceremony.
The Asian Games kicked off last weekend with a ceremony to rival the Olympics. The Games takes place every four years and gathers athletes from right across Asia – and this year it’s in Indonesia, which prompted President Widodo to make a big entrance during the opening ceremony.
Ok – so in reality, it’s a clever piece of filmmaking which shows Widodo (or more accurately, his stunt double) flying through the busy streets in order to reach the stadium in time. It’s a cool video which shows that the President doesn’t take himself too seriously. Fair play Widodo.
