Much like Wolf’s Tec-Tour Outlast Textile Jacket and Jeans, the British brands Tec-Tour Outlast Waterproof gloves are right at the top of their game.
Manufactured from XTR waterproof, breathable membranes, with Outlast thermal linings and kangaroo leather palms – they’re more than up to the job of keeping your hands dry in a downpour, while maintaining a comfortable temperature. Protection-wise, the gloves are equipped with carbon knuckles, in addition to finger joint re-enforcement – so you can rest assured that should the worst happen and you take a tumble, they’ll look after you.
I often find more winter-oriented waterproof gloves a bit cumbersome; too thick to offer much feeling, making flicking indicators on and off a bit of a challenge. However, these Wolf Tec-Tour Outlast Waterproof Gloves surprised me. Despite their impressive thermal qualities, they’re not too thick, and offer good grip and ample flexibility. To adjust their fit, the gloves also come equipped with a Velcro double wrist closure and a zipped cuff adjuster – which are both are really easy to use.
In short, these Wolf gloves are perfect for touring; they’re comfortable, waterproof, breathable, and offer a great fit too. If you’re in the market for a pair of all-purpose gloves, that’ll see you right through the year, you could do a lot worse than these Tec-Tour Outlast Waterproof Gloves from Wolf.
