The website motointroduction is claiming that these photos of the new big enduro are real. So we’re showing them to you based on that. Well, based on that AND this very lo-res version that was bumbled up online for a few minutes earlier today by another outlet that broke whatever embargo it had agreed with Ducati – it’s a small pic, but this is the bike for sure:

So what do we know? Well, aside from the photos we know that the bike is the new Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro – the first of the 2019 model line-up from the Italian factory to break cover.

The bike gets a major overhaul with the DVT motor increasing it’s size up to 1,262cc – making  158bhp max power @ 9,500rpm (up from 152bhp) and 126.5Nm of torque – 95.5lbft (up from 94).

Apparently, there’s an 18% gain in torque at 5,500rpm to give the bike more useable oomf when needed on the road. The bike’s wheelbase is extended by 5mm and wet, the bike tips the scales at 244kg.

So we’ll soon find out if this is the actual bike, but it looks like it could be a proper contender to us. What do you think?
