IMG_9606I love tools… I’ve already said how important my garage is to me, and pride of place is held by the tool chest my wife won me in a Halfords caption competition years ago. While I’m pretty well kitted-out with what I need for most jobs (or cam happy to bodge together a bearing press with threaded rod and some big washers and nuts), I suddenly feel like there’s an empty space in my tool drawer.

I spotted these in US magazine Practical Mechanics – one of the coolest set of spanners I’ve seen…

“CarbonLite’s carbon fiber wrenches are the next generation in hand tools made in the USA. Made from 3/8” High Strength Carbon Fiber and Stainless Steel Teeth, these wrenches are durable and strong while being extremely light (6.7 oz per set). The set of 5 wrenches are designed with standard and metric sizes on the same wrench. Wrench sizes are 3/8”, 7/16”, ½”, 9/16”, 5/8” and 10mm, 12mm, 13mm, 14mm, 15mm.  Set of 5 Patent Pending Wrenches are $99.95 plus shipping for a limited time”  Carbonlite Tools,”

What do you think? Do you have a tool fetish?
