The dates and venues for this season’s MotoGP tests have been confirmed ahead of this weekend’s season opener in Qatar.
Ahead of the race action getting underway for 2019 at the Losail International Circuit in Qatar – the test dates for the season ahead (and beyond) have been confirmed.
Firstly, an official test will be taking place at Misano on the 28th and 29th August – and there will also be a two-day test at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto across the 25th and 26th of November.
There’s also a possibility that a test will take place at the Kymiring in Finland ahead of the circuit being added to the race calendar. At this stage, there’s no official confirmation about when MotoGP racing will be held in Finland – but it’s expected for between 2020 and 2024.
Thinking ahead to next season – there’ll be a shakedown test on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of February at Sepang International Circuit, ahead of the official test taking place on the 7th, 8th and 9th.
