Austrian electric motorcycle company Johammer has built a cruiser that can, reportedly, complete more than 200km (125 miles) to a charge – equivalent to modern conventionally fuelled motorcycles.
The hub-centre steered machine’s batteries give a guaranteed 200,000km (125,000 mile)/four year lifetime without dropping below 85% of peak battery efficiency. It also does away with the conventional dashboard, instead featuring a speedo and charge indicator into a panel on the mirrors!
The Johammer (which bears a striking resemblance to a Bakelite snail) costs EUR 23,000 (£19,100). www.johammer.com
