Elvis Presley’s 1976 Harley-Davidson FLH 1200 Electra Glide has tucked away at the Pioneer Auto Museum for more than 30 years – and this month it’s set to go under the hammer at GWS Auctions in Hollywood.

With just 126 miles (203 km) on the clock, it is clear Elvis didn’t spend a huge amount of time on the bike – but there’s no doubt his 1976 Harley-Davidson FLH 1200 Electra Glide is a rare piece of motorcycling and music history. And this is your chance to own it.

You’ll need more than a few quid if you fancy it though, as it’s estimated to sell for between $1,750,000 and $2,000,000 (around £1,450,000 and £1,700,000). If it reaches that kind of money, it’ll beat the world record price for a motorcycle sold at auction. Just for reference, the current record was set last year when a Vincent Black Lightning sold for $929,000 (around £770,000).
