We all know Keanu Reeves loves his bikes – but in the last few years, we’ve only really seen him riding his own Arch Motorcycles. But while out at the Calafat circuit in Catalonia, the Hollywood actor has been caught riding Ducati’s Panigale V4S. And it seems like he’s a big fan, after he posted a video waxing lyrical about the bike.
But what was Reeves doing out at a track in Spain? Well, he was accompanying young American rider Damian Jigalov, who races in the Junior Cup class of MotoAmerica (and who he sponsors). And while he was there he took the chance to bomb around on a flaming red V4S.
And it seems like he was seriously impressed with the machine, posting a video to Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali. He said: “Ciao Claudio, I’m Keanu. I am here in Calafat, Spain, in the Calafat Circuit. I have had the opportunity to ride this beautiful motorcycle, the Panigale V4 S. It is a fantastic machine, I had a lot of fun with it, it does everything for you, it is beautiful. .. Congratulations on this great motorcycle.”
And in response, Domenicali’s invited Reeves to Mugello to have a go on next year’s bike. He said: “This week we had a Ducati friend experiencing the V4S on the racetrack. Beauty and Performance at his peak! Keanu, we will repeat this experience soon in Mugello and that time I will be there with you! And we may even test some new stuff for Panigale V4S 2020 … cool stuff!”
