Rumours are swirling that Husqvarna’s gearing up to launch an electric scooter for 2021 – and it might be based on its partner Bajaj’s first electric scooter, the Chetak.
Considering the Austrian/Swedish factories connection to the Indian brand, it’s not too much of a stretch to imagine the new Husqvarna electric scooter would share a few components with the Bajaj Chetak.
Launched last month, the retro-styled Chetak is available in two configurations – with either a 4 kW battery which will return 100km, or a 10kW battery which will return around 200km from a single charge.
Bajaj has already announced that it’s already begun working on a range of electric machines with KTM – which we’re expecting to start arriving in 2022. But rumours are doing the round that we’ll see Husqvarna’s first electric scooter before they make it to market… And here’s what the guys at Indian Autos Blog reckon it’ll look like.
