We’re expecting the lovely little 250 to be officially launched in Indonesia soon and these photos pretty much underline that the launch date for the screamer will be happening soon. Jonathan Rea and Alex Lowes have both been out in action at Jerez on the small bikes, shooting the snazzy footage that will no doubt make up part of the model’s launch programme.

It’s still unclear as to whether there will be the much-rumoured two versions of the 250; an A2-licence friendly with 45bhp on tap and a ‘hot’ 60bhp variant with upgraded suspension, brakes and that dollop of extra power.

Nothing seems to indicate that a ‘hot’ version of the bike was used during this photo and video shoot, the motorcycle that can be seen in all the photos here certainly looks like the A2-friendly version.
