The impact of this crisis has been felt across the world, and across all industries. Motorcycling is no different. That’s why several companies have taken an active role in fighting back. One of them is Brembo. And they have put a good chunk of money into this…
Brembo is continuing to provide support for research into countering COVID-19. The company has made the decision to donate 1 million euros to three centres of excellence in Bergamo, namely the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital, the Fondazione per la Ricerca Ospedale di Bergamo (FROM) foundation and the Mario Negri Institute, which are working in the region hardest hit by the pandemic, combining clinical and pharmacological research.
The joint work of the institutions could very soon produce an effective means to tackle the virus, significantly reducing the number of patients requiring hospital treatment.
With this donation, Brembo intends to set an example by supporting research. It is hoped that it will encourage other enterprises to follow its lead, so that a speedy and adequate solution will be found to this critical situation.
