First seen at the big bike shows towards the end of 2019, the 890 Duke R is essentially a more powerful version of the much loved 790 Duke which was launched back in 2018. But as you’d expect, there’s much more to it than that. Of course, engine capacity is up from 799cc to 889cc – which in turn means there’s now 119bhp and 73ftlb of torque on tap.

KTM’s also fitted the 890 Duke R with adjustable WP suspension and super-sticky Michelin Power Cup Evo rubber. And to further aid its corner carving potential, the seat height and footrests have been raised, which in turn has increased the bikes ground clearance.
