VIDEO: Ducati’s FIRST Superleggera V4 rolls off the production line. And it’s GLORIOUS.

The first limited edition Ducati Superleggera V4 has just rolled off the production line in Italy. And if you’ve got 90 grand burning a hole in your pocket, you can order yours NOW.

We’ve been talking about the carbon-framed 221bhp weapon for months – and now it’s finally here. Developed by renowned test rider Alessandro Valia, the limited run of 500 Superleggera V4s will be powered by a specially tuned version of the current V4 R motor – and will come dripping with carbon fibre, which helps it weigh a slight 159kg dry.

It’s a technical marvel – and as such, there’s a price to match. You’ll need 100,000 Euros (£90,000) to buy a new Superleggera V4 – but you’ll also get some seriously cool benefits for your cash.

If you’re the first on the list, you’ll be invited to Borgo Panigale for a special delivery ceremony –  and get the chance to meet Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali.

That’s not all, Ducati and Ducati Corse have come up with a “Superbike Experience” for new owners, offering the chance for punters to try out the WSB Panigale V4 R on track at Mugello. That’s pretty cool. Oh, and if you buy and Superleggera V4, you’ll be offered the chance to purchase a “MotoGP Experience” and ride the Desmosedici GP machine on track.

Each of the 500 machines will also come equipped with a Racing Kit – in the form of a titanium Akrapovič designed for track use, a carbon fibre clutch cover, a carbon fibre swingarm cover, a headlamp and light replacement kit, a license plate holder removal kit, a side stand removal kit, mirror replacement caps, a Ducati Data Analyzer + GPS (DDA + GPS), a racing fuel cap, brake lever protectors, a motorcycle cover, a front and rear stand and a battery charger too.
