VIDEO: Footage reveals Aprilia RS 660 is coming

To whet your appetite, Aprilia has just released a video showing its latest creation in action. 

We’ve seen our fair share of grainy footage of Aprilia’s hotly anticipated supersport machine – so it’s great to finally get to see a proper bit of film from the factory showing the RS 660 in all its glory. Even if it’s less than 30 seconds long.

With the official launch expected imminently, Aprilia’s clearly hoping to drum up a bit of excitement about the RS 660. And it’s working. Of course, we know (pretty much) all there is to know about the machine. Leaked documents, spy shots and footage of track tests make the 660 one of the worst kept secrets in motorcycling.

There is a nice surprise in their though. The video confirms that there are more middleweight machines on the way from the Italians. We already know the Tuono 660 isn’t all that far behind – but maybe we’ll get to see a production version of the Tuareg 660 which was tucked away behind some foliage at EICMA last year. Fingers crossed.
