Erik Buell unveils latest production model: EBR 1190SX

Alkmaar/Indianapolis, June 12, 2014 – Erik Buell Racing has revealed its latest production model, the EBR 1190SX. The new design made its unexpected debut at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway during an EBR press event with the EBR 1190RX superbike.

EBR has not revealed any product details or specs for the 1190SX which has a street fighter stance, and is likely to share much of the spec and performance of the EBR 1190RX – read the review here. The latest model of EBR will become available on the European market this year, with more details available on the 4th July.

“With this naked sport bike EBR will enter an important market segment in Europe,” said Edwin Belonje, Managing Director EBR Europe shortly after the announcement that naked bikes are outselling all other categories. “The 1190SX will without any doubt boost sales of EBR in Europe and strengthen our market presence.”
