What type of riding do you do: Casual road and maybe the odd track day – having done the Ron Haslam day at Donninton on one of these bikes it really impressed me.
Tell us about the engine: It’s very revy, but at the same time very smooth.
What’s the chassis like? The chassis is quit stiff but handles very well in and out of corners, on the straights it’s just totally stable.
What’s it like to ride? I find this an absolute joy to ride, and get out on it 4 or 5 times a week, even through the winter.
Give us three good points: Lovely torquey engine; Quality parts well put together; You feel in control
And three bad ones: Riding position can make your wrists ache, but apart from that there’s nothing else I’ve found: I rate the Honda CBR600RR as a very good package indeed and hopefully will be keeping mine for a long time.
