In 2010, in response to the pressing demand from European owners of adventure touring bikes, GIVI launched its first line of rectangular cases, called Trekker. Having become the forerunner of a wide range of accessories for adventure touring enthusiasts, the Trekker cases now appear in an updated version with a matte black finish.

Moreover, “Black Line” is the outcome of a hotline created by GIVI to dialogue with motorcyclists using new social media tools, in addition to a blog which answers questions, gives advice, provides technical assistance… almost in real time. The Trekker line was a real turning stone for the brand, as prior to their launch the brand had always produced sleeker and rounder designs.

The anodized aluminium panels applied to the lid, which until now has been the recognizable trait of the TREKKER line is now flanked by a version in black. This is achieved by applying a highly scratch-resistant sophisticated powder coat process (the same process used by GIVI to paint the Monoracks and engine guards).

The new version of the TREKKER maintains the same construction process and the same internal capacity, which is 33 and 46 litres for the side cases and 52 litres for the capacious rear top case, which can accommodate two modular helmets. Made of polymers reinforced with glass fibres, it ensures high structural rigidity

GIVI also provides a very useful series of optional accessories for the TREKKER range: expandable inner soft bags, elasticated cargo net, 2 additional metal luggage racks, straps to secure any additional items above side and top cases and last but not least, a comfortable backrest padded in imitation leather.

The retail prices of the TREKKER Black line cases are the following:

  • 33-litre side case – £194 (VAT excluded)
  • 46-litre side case – £209 (VAT excluded)
  • 52-litre rear case – £220,37 (VAT excluded)
