If you like your Guzzis and retro-racers, you’ll love this: The guys from 4H10 in France have been busy turning a ragular Moto Guzzi V7 II Stone into a cool retro-endurance racer.

The original bike

The approach was to use the Moto Guzzi parts catalogue as much as possible to make it easy for anyone to replicate the design.

The style for the design was selected after a visit to the Guzzi factory in Mandello where the Italian manufacturer’s rich racing history was proudly displayed (and after the realisation that the whole cafe racer thing had already been done to death). So it was going to be a retro-racer.

The fairing is from TGA, allowing for the slight differences in the two sides of the bike. Unusually, the the exhaust pipes got a high scrambler look, but it seems to work well with the fairing.

The seat and the rear have a real ’70s look about them, and the dual headlights complete the look.
