Yamaha releases 2017 YZF-R6 teaser video

It’s that time of the year again when motorcycle manufacturers start to tease us with videos of next year’s offerings, ahead of the international shows.

First off the blocks, and with a suitably secretive video, is Yamaha. There are not many clues of what the bike is, but the smart money is on this being the highly-anticipated new YZF-R6. The track environment in the video and the engine noise are the biggest clues, but the final confirmation will have to wait.

Yamaha says that more will be revealed on October 4, which is the press day at the Intermot show in Cologne, so expect the covers being pulled off the new R6 there and then.
