Residential childcare worker Ella, 38, from Glasgow has been riding for fourteen years and owns a very nice motorcycle. We asked her for photos and got us to tell us about herself and her biking!

What got you into motorcycling?
I’ve always wanted to ride bikes since I was a little girl. Both my grandfathers rode bikes in the war and my love for motorbikes I think has been inbuilt!
Where do you like to ride, and who with?
I’ve ridden many roads throughout England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland. My favourite roads are up the west coast of Scotland and my love for these roads and the welcoming biking community in Scotland is part of the reason I moved up to Scotland 4 years ago. I ride with my fiancé and biking pals that I have met through the biking community up here.
What’s your two-wheels bucket list look like?
“My fiancé and I got engaged in Rome and we would love to tour through Italy – especially the lakes – on our Tuono’s and see a GP at Mugello. Touring around Europe, North America and Canada would be a dream. Would also love to travel the length of Vietnam on a bike.
I would love to do more track days to test the limit of my bike and improve my skills as a rider. Cadwell Park would be the next track day. (*Let us know when you head to Cadwell, we’ll catch up with you and see how you get on! ML)
What do you get up to, as well as motorcycling?
Spending time outdoors both at work and outside of it. I love watching any kind of motorsport – My first love will always be bikes and anything to do with them!
