Want to check out some truly special bikes while we’re on lockdown? Now you can. The Ducati, BMW and Harley-Davidson museums are open for business on Google Maps.
That’s right. Head over to Google Maps, select Street View and simply drag and drop the little orange man onto your museum of choice. You can check out H-D’s place in Milwaukee, the Museo Ducati in Bologna, and BMW’s collection in Munich. Pretty cool.
It’s worth noting that while Ducati and Harley give you full access to their respective collections, BMW restricts Street View to particular points of interest. It’s still worth a look though.
Ok, so it’s never going to be quite the same as traipsing around the hallowed grounds in person – but considering that’s not going to be possible for a while, why not get your bearings and start planning a trip for the future…
