Yamaha Motor UK is pleased to announce the launch of its new Certified Pre-Owned platform, enabling riders to buy used Yamaha motorcycles with the extra peace of mind that it has been checked and approved by an authorised Yamaha dealer.

Yamaha say just because a Yamaha has been pre-loved doesn’t mean the next owner shouldn’t love it just as much, as well as having peace of mind that it has been looked after. YOU (Yamaha Offers You) Certified Pre-Owned is a guarantee that a pre-owned Yamaha has been thoroughly checked by an authorised dealer to ensure that it meets Yamaha’s standards of quality, as well as seeing the customer provided with a minimum of 12 months warranty coverage and roadside assistance in the unlikely event there is an issue.

For a machine to be advertised via the Certified Pre-Owned programme, the dealer will have to conduct a full mileage investigation, check that the previous owner has paid off any outstanding finance, and that the bike has not been stolen or subject to an insurance write-off.

Customers can browse Certified Pre-Owned models with ease via the new platform on the Yamaha Motor UK website, where an easy to use search function enables users to browse motorcycles and scooters by specific models and location.

Once passing this painstakingly thorough examination, a Certified Pre-Owned Yamaha will be offered for sale with 12 months warranty and Yamaha Motor Roadside assistance – offering that extra peace of mind.
