March 5 is a date to remember. Exactly 25 years ago, the first Monster came off the Ducati production line in Bologna – and to celebrate, the iconic Italian brand has a busy programme of events planned around its game-changing Naked.
It’s an important anniversary for Ducati, and the Bologna-based brand has plenty planned to celebrate this significant landmark. Firstly, an original Monster 900 MY1993 is on display at the Ducati Museum, ready to be admired by the museum’s thousands of visitors in a room dedicated to this iconic naked motorcycle.

Secondly, there’s the Monster Rally which brings the ‘Monsteristi’ to the Paul Ricard Circuit in Le Castellet on March 24th – for a spectacular parade. It’s open to all Ducati Monster owners, all you’ve got to do is register for the event and turn up at the track.
And of course, there will be plenty happening to celebrate the Monster during the 2018 World Ducati Week, the world’s largest Ducati rally, which is held every two years and gathers together thousands of enthusiasts from across the world. The event will be held on 20, 21 and 22 July at the Marco Simoncelli Misano World Circuit
The full programme of events at WDW2018 will be up on the official Ducati website in the not too distant future – but if you want to register to take part in the Monster parade at the “Sunday Ride Classic”, click HERE.
